What is Bilal Qureshi's advice for actors wearing revealing clothes
(Web Desk) - Pakistani actor Bilal Qureshi is among those who have never shied away from speaking out on politics, social standards, and the entertainment business.
However, Qureshi prefers to be respectful to people's viewpoints but he never really hides which side he supports.
Recently, he discussed his views and some of his earlier remarks while appearing as a guest.
At one point, Qureshi had applauded Durefishan Saleem for wearing a non-revealing outfit at an award show and his statement had gone viral at that time.
He disclosed that, in his opinion, actresses shouldn't dress provocatively.
Bilal stated that while he will not engage in a religious debate, as people here also have a ‘culture’ that needs to be recognised and adhered to.
It is possible for a woman to look elegant and graceful even while dressed modestly while highlighting that his wife and sister have never worn revealing outfit and they always look nice.
He also related a story of an actor who posted a picture of herself in a skimpy attire and was somewhat worried about the backlash.
In response, Bilal stated that he advised that she should not have uploaded these kind of pics in the first place as people will inevitably criticise someone for wearing clothing because it defies societal norms.
